Before you delve into recovering your supposedly deleted file, first try to determine if it’s actually been deleted. On occasion, you could have simply misplaced or misnamed it. In that case, check out other folders, locations and files to find what you’re looking for.

2.      Check your File History

When it comes to how to recover files in Windows 10, you should first try to locate and open the folder where the deleted file was located. Once inside, right-click then click on “History,” then select “Previous.” After selecting the desired file, left-click on restore and your file should be recovered.

3.      Recovering from Previous Versions
